Senior support worker vacancies – based in Staffordshire and Shropshire

Your new company

You will be working for a residential care provider which has homes across the Staffordshire and Shropshire region and specialises in providing the best possible care for young people with complex emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Your new role

As a Senior Residential Support Worker you will be required to provide high quality care and support which meets the physical, emotional, intellectual, social and cultural needs of the Children and Young People. In addition, you will supervise a team of support workers to ensure they provide high quality care and support as well as assisting your manager to run your workplace according to standards and legislation. You will be required to work full-time over varying shift patterns including days, afternoons, evenings and weekends. Paid sleep-ins will also be required.

What you’ll need to succeed

It essential you have a minimum of one years’ experience supporting children and young people within a residential setting or a similar role and a Level 3 in Children and Young People’s Workforce or equivalent qualification. Furthermore, you will ideally be an enthusiastic, committed and resilient individual who wants to make a difference by working as part of a team to support children and young people to achieve positive outcomes.
