Occupational Therapist, Senior Practitioner, Permanent
Southend-on-Sea Borough Council are looking to appoint a Permanent Senior Occupational Therapist Practitioner.
The post holder will be responsible for the provision and co-ordination of occupational therapy both within the Central Point of Referral (SPOR) and out in the community early response team. They will also deputise for the SPOR Lead in their absence
This post will involve screening of referrals made to the SPOR, managing a clinical caseload and supervision/supporting junior therapists in complex cases management.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this position you must hold an Occupational Therapy Degree and be registered with Social Work for England. You must have practised as an OT, have experience as a senior within an adults environment and be a car driver.
