Salary: £38,340 – £45,385
Hours: 36 per week

Then we’d love you to join our friendly, supportive team.
We are looking for a Senior Occupational Therapist to join the North East Locality Cluster team to lead and manage a team of occupational therapists and community care assistants. You will work closely with other Senior Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapy team lead and Senior Social Work colleagues to screen, prioritise and allocate work to occupational therapists working in your team. You will provide support and supervision to a team of occupational therapists undertaking assessments of need for people living in the North East Locality. You will have excellent organisational skills and be a clear and effective communicator. Previous experience of working in a community setting and an understanding of the legal frameworks and the Local authorities statutory responsibilities relevant to community occupational therapy are essential.
The North East Locality is a diverse are supporting people living in Leith, Portobello, Craigintinny, Lochend, Marionville, Willowbrae , Craigmillar and Niddrie . This is an exciting time to join our team as we continue to develop our three conversations approach and move to hybrid working.
