Senior Manager – Community Supported Living Services

Your new role
In your new role you will lead, inspire support and develop a range of quality services for people on the autism spectrum. You will be an ambassador and role model for the services, you will adhere to the highest professional standards. A key aim through leadership of services is achieving ‘Outstanding’ through the CQC inspection. The services you will be leading the community supported living services, reporting to the CEO, ensuring maximum empowerment, inclusion, opportunities and independence for the service users. You must be confident, working autonomously and be prepared to be part of the organisations out of hours on- call arrangements. You will be participating in regular management, support and development sessions with your line manager and staff for whom you are responsible. Actively co-operating with all staff maintain good relationships with outside bodies and the public in order to uphold my client’s image. You will be working in partnership with the finance department to ensure adult services budgets and accounts are in balance and always correct. You will be liaising and negotiating with local authorities, social services, health authorities and other organisation required. Keeping abreast of national and international standards and developments in the provision of generic learning and disability and adults and young people with the autism services. Providing formal reports to their governance committee. To ensure safeguarding processes are in line with Safeguarding policies and Procedures. Ensuring that all aspects of staff management/support, supervisions/appraisals, are delivered appropriately, and address performance issues in accordance with my clients expectations, policy & procedure. Ensure that the health, welfare, safety and well-being of the people supported, and staff are maintained to the highest standard, and the service conforms to legal requirements e.g., Fire, Health & Safety Regulations, CQC regulations etc. Contribute to the formulation, review and evaluation of both local & corporate policies, aims & objectives, as required, and ensure appropriate implementation.
