West Dunbartonshire Council has an ambitious strategy for meeting housing need and addressing homelessness through developing sustainable housing solutions for our communities. This includes the implementation of our Rapid Rehousing Transition Plan “Home at the Heart”, a key aspect of which is a review of Residential Supported Accommodation provision for homeless households in West Dunbartonshire.
We are looking for a high quality individual to lead on the delivery of the recommendations fromthis review who will bring added value to a vibrant and dynamic Housing Development and Homelessness Team.
The Senior Housing Development post is a fixed term position for 24 months and will require you to work with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to shape and implement policies and solutions that will meet our stated objectives. You will have a commitment to achieving best value and meeting wider cross service outcomes, strong written and verbal communication skills, project management experience and enjoy working as part of a team.
