Senior Children’s Support Worker

A well-respected residential service in the Warwickshire area are looking for an experienced senior children’s support worker to join a friendly and encouraging team on a permanent basis.
You will be working for a residential service in the Warwickshire area, specialising in supporting Children with a range of complex and challenging needs.
In your new role you will be supporting children aged 12-18 with varying levels of complex behaviour. You will be working closely with an expert team to maintain and develop a positive and encouraging environment where each child can develop and grow independently.
As a senior support worker you will be a part of a multi-disciplinary team working closely with the care team and managers of the service to ensure positive outcomes for the children and the service itself.
You will be responsible for providing a high level of compassion and support to all service users. Other key responsibilities will include completing assessments of needs and maintaining records of children’s progress.

What you’ll need to succeed:
You will need to have experience in a similar role supporting vulnerable adults or children. It is also desirable to possess an NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care or Childhood Studies Degree. A Full Clean Driving Licence is also desirable.
You will also need to have a high level of empathy and demonstrate a genuine passion for people
