Glasgow Social Work Services, Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service (ADRS) are seeking to recruit a Temporary Senior Addiction Practitioner to join the multi-disciplinary and integrated team that delivers alcohol and drug care and treatment services within a recovery oriented system of care. Candidates should have previous experience of working with the complexities associated with dependent drug and alcohol issues and understand the impact on service users, families and the wider community. Candidates should also have a commitment to recovery for individuals who experience difficulties with alcohol and drug issues. Please refer to the Person Specification for full details of post and requirements.
Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment. Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.
