Your new role
The school are looking for a SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to start asap until April 2023. This is a full-time role, 5 days a week. As well as heading up the SEN team, you will have some teaching responsibilities teaching English and phonics – specifically Fresh Start phonics.

What you’ll need to succeed

• PGCE and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• SENCO qualification or experience working as a SENCO for at least 40 days in the last 2 years
• An understanding of Special Educational Needs and SEN guidance and guidelines
• Experience teaching Fresh Start phonics
• Experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and 4
