If so, iMap are an established support provider committed to increasing the participation of young people with autism in all aspects of living and learning and we are looking for passionate and committed staff to join our team in order to support individuals through this journey.We are currently recruiting for waking night staff within our adults and young people’s residential services in Winsford and Weaverham.
Your new role
Working as a nights support worker, you will help service users get ready for bed, support them with any personal care, help with washing, getting dressed etc. You will be trained to administer meds to service users who need this as well. You will be there throughout the night to do checks, and if they wake up and need support, you will be on hand. You will also carry out some domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry and complete any paperwork that needs doing.
What you’ll need to succeed
We are always looking for quality staff who share our vision and want to work with young people or adults across our services.Experience helps, but we are happy to give you the training you need, so long as you are committed to providing a quality caring service that will enhance the lives of our young people and adults.
Ideally you will need a full UK driving license.
What you’ll get in return
As well as full time work we also offer 28 days holiday per year. Full training and a comprehensive induction will be provided as well as ongoing supervision and support, with the opportunity to gain a recognised qualification within care.
