Support Worker jobs in Derby – Full Time
Hays Social Care have a number of exciting permanent opportunities for Residential Support Workers in Derbyshire based in a new supported living service. We are working on behalf of a well-established client to hire a workforce into their newly opening Supported living service in Alfreton, Derbyshire.
Your new company
You will be supporting vulnerable adults with learning disabilities in the home and out in the community. You will be working for a well-established organisation who will be able to offer an array of training and development opportunities to help you get started and to further develop in this career.
Your new role
As a support worker you will be supporting residents with learning disabilities. Previous experience in care or support work is not essential as full training and qualifications will be provided. The new home is due to open in April with new starters beginning in February to allow time for suitable in depth training to be completed.
You Will be supporting residents with physical care, personal hygiene needs, daily tasks and skills required by their person-centred plan. Always ensuring residence dignity and independence is preserved and developed.

You will receive a competitive rate from £9.25 – £10.55 depending on level of experience (suitability evaluated at interview) .
