Residential support worker, weekdays and term time only

Your new company

You will be working for a specialist school for children with autism that also offers boarding options to its students. The entire ethos is based around a therapeutic approach to ensure a high standard of practice and outcomes.

Your new role

As a residential support worker you will be supporting the students who board in their accommodation area. Your primary focus is to ensure the children feel safe and cared for while supporting them in their development of social, life and independence skills.

This is a term time only role working a rota alternating between a week of earlies and a week of lates:

Early shift 7am to 4pm
Late shift 2.30pm to 10.30pm

Some sleep ins may be required.

You will not be required to work weekends.

What you’ll need to succeed

You will be a resilient person with a passion for children’s development. Previous social care experience is advantageous but not essential if you have a genuine desire to succeed in the sector.
