Temporary Support Worker based in Coventry – Bank

Hays Social Care are looking for Support Workers in the Coventry area to work on a temporary basis and willing to start immediately. Your new role
Your new role as a Support Worker requires you to be resilient, supportive and sensitive towards the needs of the children. You will be assisting the children towards an independent lifestyle and helping them gain the necessary skills, in order to integrate smoothly into society. You must be passionate about your role and committed to fulfilling your duties as a Support Worker. Exercising and leisure are tasks that a Support Worker in this organisation will have to partake in. You will be helping the children to develop their creativity, vocational and educational skills. We are seeking Support Workers that are in the Coventry area, are flexible and willing to work long shifts ie. 15hrs, with an immediate start.
What you’ll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role as a Support Worker you must be Passionate, patient and committed to your role and the children. You should be able to help the children reach their personal goals and learn skills they would need to live and independent life. You will be required to work alongside your colleagues, professionals and the children. You must have evidence of experience in the social care sector. You don’t need to have experience particularly with Autism as they provide any additional training you may need free of charge. Overall to succeed you must be committed to your role and eager to make a difference.
