Your new company
This world wide charity is supporting hospitals across the UK taking patients that have been discharged from hospital safely home. Based Preston the team will support hospital staff by providing a driving service to ensure the safe transport home of patients that have been given the all clear to go home.
Your new role
In your new role you will be part of a team lead by the care coordinator providing the highest levels of care and support to patients leaving hospital after an undetermined length of time. you will make sure they get full support in understanding any follow up appointments they may have or external agency teams appointment that may be coming to visit at their home as well as the basics. Making sure they are safe and comfortable on their arrival home
What you’ll need to succeed
A certificate in care or NVQ in Health and Social Care as well as a driving license are essential. applicants without both can not be considered. A strong desire to help and support the NHS during the Covid-19 outbreak and a need to help others is also necessary for the job.

Company Cars are provided to transport patients home, training and shadow shifts will be completed prior to taking people home on a lone basis. ongoing support from your coordinator and team. Excellent rates of pay, holiday and pension
