Sessional Residential Support Workers – Immediate start subject to shift needs
Your new company
Our client is a committed children’s organisation who are passionate about providing the best support to children who have experienced trauma, neglect or other challenging times during their young lives. They work together to ensure that every child is kept safe, secure while responding to any emotional support needs and challenging behaviour that can form from a negative experience a child may have had and work towards improving a child/young person’s metal health and well-being to encourage them to live as independently.
Your new role
You will be working within a well established children/young adults service providing emotional support to individuals who may have experienced difficulty in their young lives. While on shift your will monitor and assess the environment regularly ensuring that all residents are kept safe a secure and respond to any emergencies as and when required.
What you’ll need to succeed
This role would suit individuals who are good listeners and who can respond to emergency situations following company policies and procedures while using your who experience and skills as a Residential Support Worker to identify any issues which may need handled
You will have a minimum of 6 months experience in a children’s residential care setting and be registered with the SSSC.
A PVG update/application is required
A desire to help make a positive change in a young person’s life
Approachable and a very good communicator
