Residential Childcare Worker Needed In Warrington – Working with children with EBD, Full time, Permanent role

An exciting opportunity to work with a national organisation has come up in their Warrington area. This company are looking to employ and fully train a number of candidates with the right mindset and attitude towards residential childcare.
They currently support in a number of areas in the UK, giving children with EBD, disabilities and mental health conditions, a home they can feel safe in.
They are currently looking for residential child care workers for full and part time positions.
Your new role
The role is supporting children in a residential home with day to day life. This will include supporting them with their emotional and physical well being, supporting to run the home, and helping the children have the best start in life. You will support the children to grow, and reach their full potential, whilst ensuring the home is meeting high standards for safeguarding and protecting children.
Your role will also include domestic duties that are typical to run a home, such as cooking, cleaning and laundry.
This role is suitable for people who are interested in making a difference in the lives of children, who can work long days with sleep overs and who ideally have access to their own transport.
What you’ll need to succeed
Experience in children’s settings is preferred but not essential
Able to communicate and nurture trusting relationships with young people
Willing to complete full training, including level 3 in children and young people
Flexibility to support the home with sickness / last minute cover if needed
Passion for supporting others to have the best life possible
What you’ll get in return
Competitive pay rates – £9 per hour rising to £9.64 on completion of training (plus generous sleep over allowance)
Full training and development programme, including enrolment onto level 3 children and young people
