Relief Social Worker

Hours are offered on an as and when required basis
£22.25 per hour (including Distant Islands Allowance)
A shift allowance will be paid for unsocial hours worked where appropriate

We are looking to appoint qualified Social Workers to undertake Children and Families work.

You will be part of a small team covering the full range of statutory duties. We will provide regular supervision and guidance within a supportive team.

Orkney Health and Care have a commitment to developing preventative and non-statutory intervention. We have invested time and finances into this approach including developing social pedagogy and systemic practice.

You will hold a relevant qualification – DipSW or equivalent and current registration with SSSC.

This post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme in respect of regulated work with children and adults.
