As a Relief Manager at HC-One, you’ll value one thing above all: kindness. It carries across every aspect of our Dementia, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every single person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. By joining us, you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give something back to those people.
In this role, you will take on the responsibility of running an entire home when a Home Manager is absent or when we’re recruiting for a new one. Each home has performance targets, and you’ll be dedicated to ensuring these targets are met. Whether you’re emphasizing the importance of safety and quality to your team, identifying and addressing areas for improvement, or ensuring regulatory compliance standards, you’ll always prioritize resident wellbeing above anything else.
We’re looking for a care home supervisor experienced in working with vulnerable adults. You must have an S/NVQ4 qualification in Health & Social Care. Beyond that, it’s all about your brilliant, positive energy and natural ability to get along with people. Strong leadership skills are essential, as you’ll be mentoring and guiding your team to achieve the highest standards of care. Excellent time management and organizational skills are crucial, as you’ll need to manage multiple responsibilities effectively. You’ll be conscientiously accurate in your record-keeping and ensure all documentation is up to date and compliant with regulations. And, whenever you communicate with a resident or co-worker, you’ll be truly considerate and kind.
