The Registered Manager for Children’s Residential Services is part of the Children’s Social Work service, and reports to the Team Leader – Residential Childcare.
The Registered Manager will have responsibility for all day to day operational matters within the Residential Service. This includes the longer term provision for children and young people as well as shorter term provision of accommodation of children and young people who have very specific social, emotional and behavioural needs.
The Registered Manager will work in an inter-disciplinary context to ensure services are delivered to meet the needs of children and young people in a holistic manner.
The Registered Manager will develop and maintain a positive and supportive care environment, where children and young people feel safe and secure and where they will experience a truly nurturing care culture.
The Registered Manager will have the ability to identify and manage risk in consultation with the Team Leader and the wider team.
