We are excited to be working on an exciting new opportunity for a Registered Manager to join a fantastic children’s residential home in Northamptonshire with the opportunity and chance to build their own team.

Job Role

The Registered Manager for this role will oversee the whole site which currently comprises of three homes, two of which currently house six children ranging from the ages of 13 to 17 years old. The company itself homes children aged 8 to 18 years old. This company specialises in children and young people who have a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder together with an EHCP, so the ideal candidate would have experience in that area. As the Registered Manager you will be able to effectively liaise with the RI and RP of the company and also manage and support the current Home Manager, Team Leader and new staff team.

The ideal candidate for this home will be someone who is able to be a natural leader as well as being able to hit the ground running on this new opportunity.

The successful candidate will have:

– Have a Level 4/5 Diploma in Leadership and Management
– NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care
– Experience in a relevant managerial role
– Experience of working in a children’s residential home
– Experience working with ASD.
– Hold a valid full UK driving licence
– Have excellent communication skills
– Be flexible regarding shift work
– Have a good working knowledge of the relevant Children Acts and the relevant health and safety legislation’s, including COSHH.
