Your new company is a pivotal driver of essential care for children across the Lancaster region. The company supports local children across the local community.

Your new role
Your new role would be as a Residential Home Manager. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the service in line with OFSTED legislation and guidance. The home houses a maximum of 5 children at any one time, between the ages of 6-16. The service provides care to children with EBD needs.

What you’ll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have or be working towards the NVQ 5 Health & Social Care/Leadership and Management. A Social Work degree would be advantageous combined with a minimum of 2 years experience in the last 5 working in a relevant children’s care role. It is also essential for the successful candidate to be able to have a valid UK Driving License.

What you’ll get in return
In return you will be rewarded with a long-term contract. Also a highly competitive hourly rate, but as a guide, it would be reflective of a £40,000-£45,000pa salary. The hours of work would be Monday to Friday days with realistic expectations to work weekends or nights in emergency situations.
