Hays Social Care are currently working with a well-established and successful care provider in the Staffordshire and Shropshire region to appoint a Registered Manager – immediately available opportunity!
Your new company
You will be working for a well-established and successful care provider which delivers quality accommodation on an emergency, short and long-term basis and individualised therapeutic support for children and young people in residential care. This company are actively looking for a Registered Manager to assist in managing one of their three bed residential services for children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties.
Your new role
As a Registered Manager your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, ensuring the highest standard of emotional, social and physical care is provided to the young person in your care, promoting the best outcome for the young person with assistance from a multi-disciplinary team, delivering highly motivated leadership and development of a team and providing services which are fully compliant with legislative and regulatory requirements.
What you’ll need to succeed
It is essential you have a minimum of two years’ experience working within a residential setting for either children or young people and you have obtained a Level 5 qualification in care management. Previous experience as a Registered Manager is desirable, however it is not essential. Therefore, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager to take the next step in their career or for an experienced Registered Manager to join a new company at an exciting time in their journey.
What you’ll get in return
You will receive a very competitive salary of circa £34000 and you will also be working for a well-established and successful care provider who will provide ongoing support and the required facilities and provisions to you are successful in ensuring the young person receives the highest quality care and support.
