Salary: min £42,000+ (negotiable)
£5,000 welcome bonus
Additional bonuses of up to 21% of salary based on OFSTED reports/ audits and budget etc.

Your new role

You will be the registered manager of an 8 bedded children’s activity and intervention service based in Shrewsbury. The service offers 12 week placements on 2:1 basis to troubled young people and provides them respite during which time they are out having adventure and fun with the team. They will spend a lot of time doing activities such as kayaking, camping, biking, hiking, climbing and more! You’ll have a team of established and passionate support workers who work on a 4 on 8 off rota. Due to the size of the service you as manager will be supported by two deputy managers and an administrator.

This vacancy has become available due to the current service manager being newly promoted.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Level 5 qualification in leadership and management
• Previous experience managing a children’s service
• A passion for getting involved in activity and getting stuck in!
• Full UK Drivers Licence
