Your new company
Your new company provides specialist residential care and supported living for young people aged 10 – 17. Your current home’s head office is based out of East Lancashire, with the majority of their homes based in Lancashire. They are looking for a Registered Children’s Manager to replace the previous RM that has been promoted into a larger home.
Your new role
Your current home is registered for 2 young people however it is currently a solo EBD home. You will be responsible to effectively and efficiently manage the home to a high standard and achieve the highest Ofsted rating possible. What you’ll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will ideally be a current Registered Manager with Ofsted or have previously been a Registered Manager with Ofsted with reports available for review. The home will also consider a strong Deputy Manager with extensive knowledge of Ofsted. It will be essential to have your Level 5 Leadership and Management or be at least working towards this. Your new company are happy for you to transfer over your Level 5 part way through.
You will be flexible in your approach towards work along with holding a full UK driving license along with business insurance for your own vehicle.
What you’ll get in return
In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £35,000 per annum along with a bonus which is dependent on the Ofsted rating achieved. You will receive 25 days annual leave along with 8 days bank holiday (33 in total). You will be enrolled into the companies pension scheme and benefit package along with having a fantastic support network around you to continuously develop your skill set and that of your team.
