This charity owned organisation is based throughout the rolling hills of the Cotswolds. They have been providing high levels of care and offering personalised services for over 35 years. Their forte has been to provide a homely environment for elderly individuals they care for throughout numerous services in the Gloucestershire area, by offering the most modern equipment and settings, along with highly trained staff in range of residential settings. They’re passionate about having a truly person-centred care strategy that enables the residents of their homes to have as much independence and freedom as possible, which in-turn allows them to not only enjoy their day to day life, but to thrive in a secure and safe environment with excellent support from every member within the organisations team.
Your new role
As the Registered Manager of this nationally recognised provider, you will be responsible for the overall running of the home as well as ensuring all staff are kept up to date with the highest standards of training possible. You will be working alongside a highly experienced deputy manager who you will work closely with to ensure that all standards and regulations of CQC, are always being met. Following this, it will be your responsibility to make sure that all safeguarding and health and safety standards are being consistently reviewed and met.
From a business development perspective, you will be in-charge of liaising with local authorities to enhance referrals into the home, as well as making key decisions for the success of the organisation. It will be within your remit to oversee all of the finance and administration side of the business, including paying invoices, rota co-ordination, recruitment and staff pay.
The care of the individuals within this service is the first and main priority for all of the homes within this organisation. Therefore, you must be a dedicated, passionate and professional manager with the ability to make difficult decisions and work well under pressure.
