Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for the position of Quality Improvement Officer within Home Care services.
The successful candidate will have oversight of all areas of governance and compliance, Areas of proven good practice are expanded upon and areas of improvement are acted upon. 
The role shall analyse themes in order to support our ability in continuing to increase quality control and exceed the requirements and regulations set by other stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders from across GHSCP, SSSC, Care Inspectorate and other local authorities who share a focus on supporting improvements to the successful delivery of homecare provision.
Homecare supports over 4000 service users each day with a team of over 2000 staff and the successful candidate will have the ability to develop, maintain and support close working relationships with stakeholders from these partner organisations to ensure the continuation of positive outcomes for the delivery of homecare services within Glasgow as well as for the development of service user and staff forums to allow their views to be captured and influence our internal development plan. 
This is a challenging, dynamic and exciting role and an opportunity to be part of a team committed to supporting service improvement and driving up the quality of homecare provision within Glasgow. 
To succeed, you should have a focus on quality assurance, an interest in local and national homecare priorities and have experience in identifying and implementing process improvements and experience in working with a large group of staff/stakeholders would be advantageous.
