Project Workers x2 – Endsleigh Gardens

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

We are currently looking to recruit two dynamic individuals to join the organisation as Project Workers at our Endsleigh Gardens hostel. The service provides accommodation for male and female rough sleepers, many of whom have complex needs including alcohol and substance misuse, mental health and sex working.
About the role
As a Project Worker, you will provide high-quality support, care and advice to our residents that focuses on their strengths and goals, and is delivered in a way that suits them.
You will work collaboratively to help clients identify their personal aims and ambitions, and support individuals to make and carry out plans to achieve them. You will also assist them to develop and care for themselves by providing advice and guidance on personal development and relevant life skills.
What are we looking for?
To succeed in these highly rewarding roles you will have an excellent understanding of the issues faced by homeless or vulnerably housed people – you may have had personal experience of homelessness yourself. You will have some experience of helping vulnerable people to identify personal goals and supporting them through a process of change. You will also have a sound understanding of the support needs of people with low incomes, including rent payments/arrears and professional boundary issues. Flexibility is required, as you’ll be working a shift rota that includes weekends and public holidays.
