We are currently recruiting for a project support worker on an annualised hours contract arrangement. The successful candidate will cover planned annual leave in the team and be available to cover day or night shifts. The current estimate is 360 hours to be worked until 31st March 2022 and you will be paid an average salary 4 weekly of approximately 12 hours per week. (this is an estimate and is subject to change based on start date). Advertised salary will be pro rata based on hours worked.
These hours will be reviewed prior to the new financial year and may change year on year.
You will have experience of working within the care sector, preferably within homelessness. You will be qualified to SVQ 3 in Social Care (or equivalent) and have excellent assessment and care planning skills.
You will work as part of a dynamic team and use a multidisciplinary approach and will provide an effective, high quality support service to address the presenting needs of residents in a busy hostel. You will provide person centred support and participate in the delivery of a group work programme based on personal development and tenancy sustainment skills.
