Based at home and at Clepington Road Depot, you will work full time, 37 hours per week on a temporary basis for three years.

Requirements

You will have an HND or SVQ Level 4 in Construction/Building or related discipline.

Responsibilities

You will inspect, survey and instruct repair and maintenance requests timeously in line with Council targets. You will compile and instruct technical Building Conditions Surveys. You will investigate issues related to the repairs and maintenance service.

The Individual

You will have an experience with repairs and maintenance of buildings and experience of working directly with the public.

You will have good communication, customer care, analytical skills and problem solving skills. The ability to plan and prioritise workloads, experience working in a team, ability to work under pressure and be computer literate/use MS Office is also essential.

You will be able to attend evening meetings and hold a current driving licence.
