Location: Countesswells Out of School
Duration: Permanent, Part Time – 18.75 hours per week
About the role:
To work as part of a team in planning and delivery of effective Out of School Care provision to meet the individual needs of children and their families, ensuring their wellbeing and improving play experiences and outcomes for all service users.
The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:
SVQ Level 2 in Playwork, SSCYP or CCLD(SCQF Level 6) or demonstratable equivalent experience & knowledge
Registration with Scottish Social Service Council (SSSC)
Experience with Additonal Support Needs Children
PVG Scheme Membership
The post holder is expected to demonstrate skills & Experience in:
Delivering a high quality Out of School Care service
Experience of working directly with school aged children.
Experience of planning for and assessing children’s learning and play experiences.
Ability to relate to children, parents, carers and other professional colleagues.
Managing and maximising resources
