Physiotherapist – Full Time – Local Authority – Immediate Start

Your new role
In your new role as a physiotherapist, you will be providing a holistic initial assessment of service users with complex care and therapy needs in the re-ablement team. You will assess and progress mobility and balance, and use standard physiotherapy outcome measures to measure efficiency of treatment programmes. You will also support the duty manager to triage referrals into the service when required in order to ensure that the appropriate pathways into Adult Social Care are identified.
It will be your new responsibility to identify situations where service users are deemed to be at risk, including situations where people may be neglected or abused in accordance with the Inter-agency Policy and Procedures for Safeguarding Adults. You will complete timely referrals and case transfers to other team members where appropriate. As a physiotherapist, you will provide high quality therapy interventions and conduct goal reviews, carry out tasks, manage and record the progress and, when required, supporting the Team and Managers in running the service.
What you’ll need to succeed
In order to be a successful candidate for this role, you will need:
– Degree in Physiotherapy
– State Registration
– Undergraduate or post qualification experience
– Ability to undertake written holistic therapy assessments
– Comprehensive knowledge and application of relevant legislation
