If so, we want you to come and work with us. Due to the continued expansion within our service, temporary opportunities have arisen for part-time Personal Carers for a period of 9 months, after which time posts will be reviewed.
Working as a Personal Carer is a rewarding role, providing professional, essential support to help maintain people in their own homes.

The service has both early and back shifts available across the East Locality which covers Braes, Boness and Grangemouth areas. Central Locality which covers Camelon, Towers and Bainsford.
The working pattern is 7 days over a 2 week period with every second weekend off.
The shift times available are as follows:
Early Shift 7am to 1.21pm
Back Shift 4pm to 11pm
Other various shift patterns available.
Both shift times include a 20 minute unpaid break.
The contracted hours of the posts are varied, these will be averaged over a 2 week roster period .
Applicants are asked to detail the shift times they wish to be considered for in the additional information section on the application form.
A level of flexibility is required to meet the exigencies of the service; as a result, it would be advantageous to be a driver and to have access to a car.
All posts involve lone working.
Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council within the first 6 months of working with Falkirk Council is a requirement of the post. You will also be required to achieve an SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care within an agreed timescale if you have not already achieved this award.
If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
You will work 35 Hours per week.
This post is temporary until 26 July 2021 due to sickness cover.
