Substance Misuse / Recovery Worker

Hays Social Care are currently looking to expand our team of Recovery Workers for roles throughout London. Hays are the biggest recruitment agency in the UK, and so we have connections with a large base of clients.
Your new role
In this role you will be required to:
support service users from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey
provide screening, assessment, psychological interventions, recovery planning and onward referral
reduce drug and alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community
What you’ll need to succeed
Successful applicants would require:
Minimum 6 months experience in a relevant social care role within the last 2 years
You will also need to have a relevant qualification, such as a Diploma or Level 2/3 NVQ in Health and Social Care
Enthusiasm and commitment when working in a challenging environment
