Job Title: Peripatetic Care Home Manager
Location: NG15, Midlands, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire (Ideally based within a 25-mile radius of Hucknall/Newark)
Salary: Circa £45,000 per annum + Travel Allowance/Mileage Claim + Additional payment scheme
Type of role: Permanent, Full-time 37.5 hours a week

Our client is a leading healthcare provider with a group of 12+ homes – they have a commitment to delivering high-quality care and ensuring the well-being of their residents. With a network of care homes across the Midlands, Nottinghamshire, and Derbyshire, they are seeking a dedicated Peripatetic Care Home Manager to join the team. As a group, 90% of their current sites are rated 'Good' or above by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), reflecting our dedication to exceptional care.
Role Overview of this Peripatetic Care Home Manager:
As a supernumerary Care Home Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing a group of care homes within the organisation. Your responsibilities will include covering holidays, sickness, and vacant homes without managers. With the assistance of our compliance team, Operations manager and individual site managers, you will help improve and maintain Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards to ensure the highest level of care for our residents. Your excellent performance may also unlock additional financial rewards through our payment scheme for achieving outstanding CQC ratings/visit results.
Key Responsibilities of this Peripatetic Care Home Manager:
* Provide temporary management support to care homes in the absence of regular managers.
* Collaborate with the compliance team to ensure adherence to CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
* Implement and oversee risk management strategies.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement in care delivery.
* Act as a registered CQC manager for designated care homes.
* Travel across the Midlands, Nottinghamshire, and Derbyshire area to fulfil your role.
Skills and Experience requirements of this Peripatetic Care Home Manager role:
* Previous experience as a Care Home Manager, with a strong emphasis on compliance and risk management.
* Good understanding of Kloe's (Key Lines of Enquiry).
* Registered CQC Manager.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility to cover different locations and adapt to changing circumstances.
