An exciting opportunity has arisen for the positions of Operations Manager (Older Peoples Residential Services) within the Glasgow City Health & Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP). The Operations Manager will report directly to the Registered Service Manager responsible for the running of a purpose built 120 bedded residential care home for older people with complex needs. To be successful in this role, you should have proven management experience with a knowledge of legislation and policy that governs the delivery of residential care services. Candidates will be required to demonstrate their ability to lead, develop and deliver all aspects of the service to ensure provision of person centred care and improved outcomes for older people. You must hold, as a minimum, the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) required qualifications for a ‘Supervisor in a Care home for Adults’ and will be expected to complete the qualifications required for a ‘Manager of a care home for adults’ within the first two years in post if you do not have these on appointment.
