Glencruitten provides weekday and accommodation for up to 76 secondary pupils from our island communities to enable them to attend Oban High School.

The officer in charge is responsible for all aspects of the day to day operation of the hostel and for ensuring the high quality care of all pupils staying there.

Applicants will need to demonstrate experience in the management or supervision of care services, be familiar with the relevant national care standards and responsibilities of the registered manager.

The post is 40 weeks – term time.

• The salary shown is the full time equivalent salary, the actual salary will be paid pro rata for the hours worked, on a term time basis.  
• The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013, as amended, applies to this post.  
• This post requires Protection of Vulnerable Group (PVG) Membership in relation to working with children.
