Occupational Therapy Assistant, Adults, Southend, Permanent
Southend City Council have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Occupational Therapy Assistant to work within the community occupational therapy team.
Working with Southend residents, this varied role provides a range of solutions to maximise their strengths and resilience, including the provision of equipment and adaptations, advice and safe techniques to promote independent living and support carers.
If you are a person who is passionate and highly motivated about developing services within a health and social care perspective we would want to hear from you.
In return we will offer professional supervision; appraisal and regular training.
Within this position, hybrid working opportunities are available, however a flexible approach is needed as you will be required to be on site and to travel around the city.

What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this position, you must be studying or have just qualified as an Occupational Therapist.
As well as this, you are required to have previous experience of working within the adult health and social care sector with excellent organisational skills.
