The successful candidate will work as part of a team of Occupational Therapists, Community Care Assistants and Social Care Officers. 

Working with service users within the community you will contribute to the assessment process in identifying the assessed needs of service users in line with eligibility criteria and have an awareness of relevant legislation.

Assisting with the provision of major and minor adaptations, providing and demonstrating provision of equipment as well as supporting ongoing development within the service.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
