We are looking for occupational therapists to join our locality teams in the city. We have full time, part-time and support pool positions available. We also welcome enquiries from new graduates and anyone considering a return to practice. Successful candidates will join one of our established locality teams in the city working with a Senior OT, OT and OT Assistants as well as the wider health and social care team to provide high quality care to service user’s and families.
You will carry out assessments to enable people to live safely and independently in the community and achieve their outcomes. This will involve the provision of equipment and adaptations and self-management strategies to improve overall health and well-being.
We are committed to supervision, training and development to support you in this role. For new graduates there will be an appointed mentor and a preceptorship programme. There is the potential for rotation to vary workload and build skills.
The postholder will require HCPC registration and have a diploma/degree in Occupational Therapy.

To work as an Occupational Therapist within Aberdeen City, delivering occupational therapy services in accordance with current legislation and Bon Accord Care’s policies, procedures and standards/values. The post holder will be required to undertake a wide range of occupational therapy services and in the delivery of a responsive and person led service including facilitating hospital discharges, working with people who have complex needs who may need rehabilitation, enablement including assessment for adaptations, specialist equipment and risk assessment/management to provide a high standard of person-centred care.
