The Glasgow Health and Social Care Partnership (GHSCP) is on a journey to radically change the way in which Social Work delivers support and services.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Occupational Therapists for the new Health and Social Care Connect within Glasgow HSCP, changing the way we deliver services using an asset based approach and have effective interface with partners and the 3rd sector.
The service will span across Adults and Older People’s Services, Children and Families, Homelessness and Addictions, working in a multi-disciplinary way.
We are seeking energetic, talented, resilient and committed Occupational Therapists to prevent long term involvement with statutory services where possible and provide excellent services to those who require it. You will have sound knowledge of assessment and care/ case management; experience of community Occupational Therapy would be advantageous, rehabilitation or re-ablement approach and work in a person centred manner which will be fully embedded in your practice. You will be confident in managing risk and looking for innovative ways to promote independence and link people into the local community.
A Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) are essential.
Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment.
