Birmingham City Council urgently require 10 Newly Qualified Social workers within Community & Hospitals Teams
Your new company
Birmingham City Council are urgently looking to recruit 10 newly qualified Social workers to join the local community teams; Hodge Hill, Yardley, Perry Barr, Hall Green, Selly Oak, Northfield, Hall Green and Ladywood constituencies and the Hospitals Teams – EAB, Acute and EICT.
Your new role
As a newly qualified Social worker, you will be working within, strong established teams, undertaking caseloads with citizens and carers to identify needs and outcomes, completing reviews and attending and participating in case discussions. You will deliver an enhanced customer experience that promotes the well-being of vulnerable adults within Birmingham to enable them to live independently for longer, supporting them in retaining and regaining their skills and confidence. You will have knowledge of managing a caseload, good knowledge of safeguarding. Have all round knowledge and familiarity with the Care Act 2014. Experience in using Carefirst/eclipse systems desirable, but not essential and training will be given.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful you will require a Social Work qualification (BA Social Work, CQSW, DipSW, CSS or CCETSW approved equivalent). It is also essential that you have a current professional registration and have a experience working with adults services.
