Applicants for the MAPPA (Multi Agency Public Protection Arrangements) Co-ordinator post must have working knowledge of the MAPPA process. It is essential that applicants have operational experience, preferably at management level, of work with sex offenders and violent offenders within Social Work, Police, Scottish Prison Services, Health Service or other agencies who work directly with this client group. Diploma or degree level or equivalent in relevant subject is essential for this post. Excellent analytical and administrative skills are essential, as is experience of delivering training.
Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment. Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.

VISOR vetting via Police Scotland is a requirement for this position.
Your basic hours of work will be 35 hours per week, the standard day will be the current office opening hours (Monday-Thursday 8.45am to 4.45pm, Friday 8.45am to 3.55pm (50 minutes unpaid lunch break).
