We are currently working with a variety of Care/ Nursing homes in the Selby area, and looking to recruit experienced, Friendly, hardworking Registered General Nurses and Registered Mental Nurses to join our team and provide excellent care within these homes. Looking after residents with a range of complex care needs including Dementia. We offer competitive hourly rates, flexible working patterns and Weekly pay.

Role and Responsibilities:

* To be an integral part of the team to support with all aspects of the care role

* Manage and administer medication

* Manage any emergencies that occur

* Manage and update mar charts with all accurate information

* Maintain high standards of nursing care is always provided

* Take charge and be the point of contact for all staff members on duty

* Undertake all duties of a nurse in the home

* Assist colleagues, with all aspects of care

* Make sure that safe care practices are adhered to

* Using any machinal and non-mechanical aids to help the residents when moving.

* Communicate with other colleagues to ensure smooth and safe practice in the home

* Maintain Confidentiality

Ideal Candidate:

* Must be hard working and Honest

* Must have current valid PIN number

* Must be reliable

* Must have 6 months previous experience

* Must hold a valid DBS

* Driver preferred but not essential

* Be friendly and able to engage with others
