About you and this post
Kingswells Care Home is based on the outskirts of Aberdeen. A purpose-built care home that supports those living with dementia. We support those living with us, along with people and families requiring respite and those requiring interim place until they find their chosen home.
We are looking for an expectational Service Manager, who has a proven passion for supporting residents who are living with Dementia, their families, and staff. We are particularly interested in candidates who have previous/transferable knowledge, understanding and experience of supporting those living with and affected by Dementia. Individuals who, through their experiences in health and social care, understand and exemplify quality improvement and change methodologies. Supported by Assistant Managers, the staff team, and the wider MDT, the postholder should bring a skill set and values that promote excellent person-lead support and inspire and motivate others.
The ideal postholder will be a registrant with a health and social care body (NMC, SSSC; HSPC – please see job profile for required qualifications) who will be instrumental in promoting an inclusive culture of quality and positive outcomes for service users. As a key part of the Senior Leadership Team at Bon Accord Care, and reporting to the Operational Lead team, the postholder will support and monitor effective and efficient care delivery, drive financial performance. Support, mentorship, and coaching are a key area of responsibility for this leadership position at the Kingswells Care Home.
