Locality Support Worker (Temporary)

We are recruiting for staff to work within our Integrated Day Service based in Motherwell. If successful you will work as part of a team focussed on delivering high-quality support and care packages to vulnerable older adults within our communities.
Your role will be to provide a person centred approach toward to individuals, ensuring they receive support and access to a range of activities which encompass social, leisure and lifelong learning pursuits.
Educated to standard grade level or equivalent, some experience of providing personal care to individuals is essential. An SVQ 2 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent in a relevant discipline and previous experience of working with older adults in a community setting is desirable.
You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing in this role.

*For all casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked in total recompense for annual leave, including public holidays. These rates will be indicated separately on your payslip. You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
