Adult’s Support Worker – Learning Disabilities and Autism – Newport South Wales – Long Term Temporary
We are recruiting for a client that is a leading charity supporting individuals on the autistic spectrum and their families. They are looking for a candidate that is passionate about providing care and supporting service users to maintain their independence and live their lives fully.
The charity is UK leading and is dedicated to providing care to people with autism and are looking for like minded people to fill a full time role in a home in Newport. The residence is home to 3 individuals who require around the clock care. They are friendly and sociable, and we are looking for someone who would fit in at the home.
You will need to have at least 6 months experience within the last 2 years in similar role, working in a similar environment, either with service users with autism, or users with other learning disabilities.
The role will be 29 hours a week on a long term temporary basis, and will be across a variety of shifts over a 7 day working week. You will be required to work some weekends, and will need to be fully flexible to these shifts.
