Support Worker – Ammanford – Brand new Service exciting time to join! 22-45 hour contract

We are looking for Support Workers to join our client M&D Care’s brand new residential service in Ammanford, for people with Learning Disabilities, Autism and behaviours that may challenge. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an exceptional and state of the art service, providing outstanding care and support. Tegfan will be opening it’s doors in May 2022.

Your new role

You will be part of an incredible team, helping to deliver emotional and practical care and support for vulnerable adults and transforming their lives on daily basis.
You will be involved in providing quality care for vulnerable adults within a residential setting, you will ensure the highest quality of care is provided to the people supported through their person-centred care plans.
You will be offered focused support within a range of tasks including personal care, preparing meals, administering medicine, shopping.

You will need to be committed to providing an excellent level of care for vulnerable people with mental health and learning disabilities.

What you’ll need to succeed

It is really important that you have the right values and behaviours to work as a Support Worker.

You do not need to have experience in Social Care but you do need to have the right values and behaviours:

Committed to quality care and improving lives
Willing to learn and develop
Spending time listening to people to get to know them and their needs
Respect people’s rights to make their own choices and decisions
