Kitchen Assistant/Domestic

St Brendan’s Care Home, Isle of Barra, Western Isles

16 hours per week, permanent

£23,974 – £24,244 per annum (pro rata)

You will provide general support to cooks by, cooking under supervision, preparing ingredients, cleaning, washing up, dining room duties and duties in the home if requested.

You should have experience of carrying out kitchen duties, preferably in a work setting and cleaning, preferable to a cleaning schedule or in a work setting. It is essential that you have the ability to understand, retain and act on instructions as well as work in a team.

The wearing and use of PPE is essential in this post.

Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance.

Appointment to the post will be on the first point of grade with annual incremental progression.
