A key part of our ambition is to create job opportunities for our residents and we are looking for a Job Coach to join our Supported Enterprise team based in Wishaw.
You will join a team dedicated to supporting people facing challenging barriers to obtain and sustain employment in a variety of workplaces across Lanarkshire.
You will be involved throughout the employment journey from actively seeking job opportunities, profiling potential employees and offering on-going support and training to maintain work placements and employment.
You should have an SVQ level 3/HNC or equivalent in a Health & Social Care or relevant training/marketing discipline with moderate experience of working with people in a social care setting or assisting people into employment.
Experience of working with people with disabilities or care experienced young people and an understanding of welfare benefit entitlements are desirable.
The ability to travel throughout North Lanarkshire and surrounding areas is essential due to the geographical spread of work.
You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing in this role. This post is temporary for twelve months.
