Hays Education is currently looking to recruit an experienced primary school Teaching Assistant in the Doncaster area with a particular focus on implementing Intervention strategies with pupils. The school is seeking a Teaching Assistant for pupils of primary age who require some extra assistance in core curriculum subjects with a view to achieving required outcome results by using intervention strategies such as Jolly phonics, read write inc and letters and sounds. Therefore, experience in these areas are a must along with confidence, enthusiasm and motivation to the classroom. You will be required to work with pupils in the main classroom or work with smaller groups and occasional 1:1 where required, some pupils who you will work with may need guidance in their behaviour.

What you’ll need to succeed

Essential to this role:
* Minimum of 3 months experience of working with pupils within the last 2 years
* Ability to engage with pupils of varying ages and abilities
* Experience of working on a one to one basis with pupils
* Excellent behaviour management skills
* A flexible, adaptable approach to work
