Falkirk Council is ’s Conflict Resolution Service has an exciting opportunity to join our specialist team.  Due to a significant increase in demand for our services due to the impact of the pandemic we have secured two additional temporary positions of Intervention & Mediation Officer. The successful Officers will respond to neighbour complaints and antisocial behaviour in an effective and person centred way.  They will assess and identify the most appropriate method of resolving conflict, this will include encouraging the use of Mediation, enforcing the conditions of the tenancy agreement, signposting to support services to address the cause of the behaviour. They will also be responsible for helping to prevent homelessness through Family Mediation for young people who are considering leaving home.   

We are looking for individuals educated to HND standard or equivalent with experience of dealing with ASB and neighbour nuisance, and ideally with relevant mediation training or experience and/or training, preferably within a housing context.

This post is temporary until June 2024 due to service requirement.
